hey Y'all from central Fl. Just joined the forum today and have some questions.I have all of Doug's dvds and they are great. Here is my problem I have been playing 30 yrs mostly metal, rock and blues and 15yrs as a pro. This may sound stupid but I am trying to get the hang of country and do an ok job. My question is does any body know any dvds out there that lay it out from scratch to intermediate or advanced levels. I just want to almost like start over and learn the guitar over country style and there are so many to choose from and my budget is not real great right now.Any help would be appreciated and I am happy to be a member of this board !

I don't know of any DVDs that address country guitar from a beginner level, but Hal Leonard has a book called 'Country Guitar' by Greg Koch that starts from the very basics and helped me a lot - I also played rock/metal for 20+ years before deciding to play country.
Here's a link: http://www.amazon.com/Hal-Leonard-Countr....3857840&sr=8 -1
